Church Credentials
Credential Updates
In addition to the three General Council credential levels, a General Council affiliated church may also grant a Local Church Credential. This credential is non-transferable, typically issued for 2 years (with extensions possible for ongoing ministries such as hospital or prison ministry), and requires the credential holder to remain accountable in doctrine and discipline to the local church. Lead pastor's may request the official application and more information at credentials@nmministry.net
Pastoral Transition Manual
As a Network we desire to come alongside pastors and churches to support in every season. We are pleased to share a helpful resource designed to guide churches and boards through the pastoral transition process. This tool offers practical steps, spiritual direction, and clarity for each stage. Our prayer is that it brings peace, unity, and confidence as congregations follow God’s leading into their next chapter.
We celebrate with those newly stepping into ministry credentials and stepping up in credential level and gladly welcome ministers joining us here in New Mexico. We also honor those who have transitioned out of our Network and pray for God's continued grace over their journey ahead.
