New Mexico School Of Ministry
The New Mexico Ministry Network is pleased to provide its School of Ministry. NMSOM is open to aspiring ministers and lay persons alike. It provides a convenient and accessible opportunity for Biblical and ministerial training. NMSOM is a Network-sponsored and Network-operated ministerial training program that enables individuals to complete the educational requirements of the Assemblies of God for credentialing.
Courses completed through the New Mexico District School of Ministry that are required by the Assemblies of God for credentials meet the educational requirements of the General Council for the respective level of credential.
Completion of the courses, however, does not guarantee that a ministry credential will be granted, or that preferential treatment will be given to those completing the required ministerial training courses through the School of Ministry. The credentialing of ministers is a process separate from completion of the educational requirements.
NMSOM is a non-accredited Bible institute. While endorsed by the Executive Presbytery of the General Council of the Assemblies of God for ministerial training, courses completed through the school do not automatically qualify for college credit

New Mexico School Of Ministry PLUS
NMSOM Plus is an extension of the New Mexico School of Ministry, targeted for those in ministry who would like to build upon their current foundation of knowledge and skills. This selective development track is for ministers seeking to elevate their leadership. NMSOM Plus courses do not fulfill the credentialing requirements for the Assemblies of God, but is intended to be an additional learning tool for laypersons and ministers.
NMSOM Plus does NOT fulfill the credentialing requirements for the Assemblies of God. NMSOM Plus is an additional learning tool to build leadership skills for those in ministry or those seeking to go into ministry. Credentialing within our Fellowship is an altogether different process, with its own courses, exams, paperwork, and interview. Those interested in seeking credentials should contact the Network Executive Administrator’s office for additional information.
